It would be easy to say, go visit the Tate St Ives, or fall out the cottage front door into the Barbara Hepworth Gardens, but no, we’re going to go out on a limb here and suggest that in fact, you don’t stay in St Ives for this at all. In fact, we suggest if you only visit one gallery, you take the train to Penzance and visit the Newlyn Gallery. Part of this choice is because you get two for the price of one .. the gallery has premises in Penzance and Newlyn but on our way between the two we also squeeze in a bonus peep at Penzance’s beautiful 1930’s Art Deco Lido, the Jubilee Pool.
